Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film typically that are in the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as an obsession with them. Her first review was in 2009 and after gaining some recognition on their forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. Her site remained up until the early days of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on the channel. Both are based on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. After reviewing films in 2009 the actress gained popularity on Channel Awesome's forums. Before joining the official family that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. She has made numerous appearances on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. She used to be a member of the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker as well as frequently appear on the episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
