Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English musician and singer. Jessie was first noticed for her unique style of music that is a blend of soul, hip-hop, pop and electropop. She has received awards like the 2011 Critics' Choice Brit Award as well as BBC's Sound of 2011 as well being nominated for numerous awards. She started her career at just 11 when she was selected for the show "Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. In 2002, she was cast for"The Last Sleepers," the "National Youth Music Theater" performance of "The Late Sleepers." It was the year 2011 when she released her debut studio album 'Who You Are,' which was released on February 28. In the UK in particular it sold 105,000 copies, whereas in the US it sold 34,000. The album was also ranked number two in the charts for UK albums and was ranked eleventh in the US Billboard 200.
